Linda Freede, president of LJF Associates Advertising/Public Relations, and long time Montgomery County Youth Services (MCYS) Board member was recently awarded the ‘Director’s Award’ by the Texas Network of Youth Services (TNOYS) during their state conference awards ceremony in Austin.

The ‘Director’s Award’ is given to an outstanding board member serving on a board of one of the 52 TNOYS member agencies.

Linda Freede has been on the MCYS Board since 1993 and has held all executive offices, including two terms as Chairman. She currently sits on the Finance, Golf Classic, Fund Development and Governance committees. As president of LJF Associates Advertising/Public Relations, she offers the services of the firm pro bono to help promote the accomplishments and activities of MCYS.

Montgomery County Youth Services (MCYS) is a private, not-for-profit counseling agency committed to providing quality social service programs to children and families in crisis throughout Montgomery County.

The Texas Network of Youth Services is an organization of 52 nonprofit youth service agencies and private individuals who share the common goal of creating better options and improving available services for youth and families in crisis. The mission of TNOYS is to promote excellence in youth service organizations through support, training and advocacy.
