Linda Freede, president of LJF Associates, Inc., recently announced that Woodlands resident Caitlin Booker and Conroe resident Amber Moore have joined the full-service advertising and public relations agency as college student interns.

As interns, Moore and Booker will further develop their public relations skills by writing press releases, assisting in compiling media kits and acquiring general experience in the public relations field. They will also gain experience in other aspects of the agency including advertising, media buying, production, creative, direct mail and marketing specialties.

Caitlin Booker
Booker is a junior at Southern Methodist University (SMU) in Dallas, where she maintains honors with distinction and is a member of the University Honors Program and the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. Her major is corporate communications and public affairs with a history minor.

As a contributing writer for SMU’s Daily Campus in 2007, Booker wrote numerous articles, most notably interviewing singer/songwriter Sheryl Crow and environmental activist Laurie David. She served as director of public relations for SMU’s Program Council in 2007 and will be featured in an upcoming SMU newsletter highlighting her volunteer work.

Booker graduated from the John Cooper School in 2005 with honors, where she served as editor in chief of Literary Magazine and vice president of the school’s Junior Statesmen of America chapter.

Amber Moore
Moore is pursuing her Bachelor of Arts degree in advertising/public relations with a minor in audio and video production at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. She was also a part of Edge Ministries her freshman year at Liberty University.

Moore graduated from Tomball High School in 2005, where she was nominated for “Who’s Who Among American High School Students” all four years. She was also a cheerleader for her school for three years.
